I can relate with how harsh the heat of medical school can be, especially for someone like you who aspires to do other great things outside med school. If you can't dance to the monotonous tune of med school, the truth is that it won't get any easier but you will navigate it smoothly if you can get tougher physically, mentally and spiritually (not necessarily religious).

What I so much love about this newsletter is the self analysis. When you understand yourself so much that you can identify your energy parasites, you're very close to becoming inoculated and this will show you how to make huge improvement.

However, at this juncture, I think you have to lighten your ship to create a stability for your academics and other important things you leave on board. Don't carry more than you can bear. I'd advise you to throw the least important things off board but not without wearing lifejackets for them, so that they don't drown into oblivion. After that, work more to expand your capacity and mental endurance, then you can return other things gradually on board as you let the wind of hope blow your sail in the voyage of life. Never underestimate yourself, Adedolapo, medical school got nothing on you.

Take care and be strong. You matter to us here.❤️
